WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

As the Lead, Brand Marketing Professional Women's Sport, you will primarily lead our approach to Football in Pacific, focusing on both elevated brand and grass-roots initiatives. You will be responsible for driving the implementation of our storytelling and experiences delivered to consumers. You will be at the forefront of identifying the shifts happening in our industry and in team sports more broadly, partnering with functional experts, and into our Strategic Account teams to shape how we define the future of our connection to the consumer in team sports. Collaboration, strategic brief development, communication, planning, attention to detail, connection to the consumer, and creativity will be vital to your success.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Partnering with the greater marketing team and external stakeholders such as football clubs, you will craft a strategic vision for women's football (and other team sport), driving the development and implementation of content and experiences both digitally and physically for the consumer. You will manage the seasonal planning process/calendar including leading, contributing, and driving the seasonal plan for this Consumer Field of Play. You will be responsible for delivering and executing a holistic marketing plan, in line with brand and business strategies and obsessing the consumer journey, thinking digital first and ensuring there is a seamless on-line to off-line journey. At times you will manage global and geo stakeholders to ensure communication and alignment with global strategic accounts across countries is upheld and harnessed.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

Your role at Nike will require significant cross-functional collaboration with both internal and external partners and partnerships. You will work within the Consumer Brand Marketing team and report to the Brand Director – Women's. You'll work closely with Key strategic partners such as Football Australia, to harmonize and build plans. You'll also be active within the team sports communities, building consumer insight and driving connection to our brand. Regularly, you'll work back with the Asia Pacific and Latin America (APLA) team in the US to share plans, learnings and recaps and collaborate and input on strategies.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

  • A University Degree in marketing or related field and 4+ years of directly related marketing experience.
  • A digital first mindset and eagerness to continue to push creative and strategic boundaries.
  • A demonstrable connection to team sports – Football (Soccer) is preferable but other connections will be considered.
  • Experience leading and driving end to end planning & the ability to masterfully juggle the details and the big picture.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience presenting to leadership teams, both internally and externally
  • Experience in working cross functionally, harnessing a collaborative team environment and being able to lead project work within a large dynamic team.
  • Adapts quickly to move at the pace of consumer and work in a constantly evolving environment, making decisive decisions when needed.
