About Them
Our client is based nationally with a footprint globally, their business units are fast paced and dynamic environments.

They are seeking a Safety Lead for this newly created role to support the development and implementation of new strategies and initiatives for a new distribution centre with state of the art technology.


The Role

  • Lead, coach and mentor direct reports, creating a customer first culture that delivers great results
  • Support and foster a culture of diversity and inclusion in the workplace
  • Build and promote a team environment focused on working collaboratively to achieve team and distribution centres objectives
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments of processes and equipment to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
  • Implementing efficient practices and adhering to fitforpurpose principles in delivering solutions and outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in OHS, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Safety Lead in a distribution, supply chain or logistics environment (or similar)
  • Indepth knowledge of safety regulations and standards
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
