Working as part of our fast paced and constantly evolving Talent and Organisational Development team, you'll take the lead in the design, delivery and implementation of a variety of initiatives to enhance our adaptive and inclusive culture.

Where you come in:


In this part-time position (0.6FTE), you'll be based ideally in our head office in Carlton, though other locations will be considered.

We are open to flexible work arrangements, including the ability to set your work hours in line with the part time requirements of the role.

You will drive and support the design and development of innovative, effective, and sustainable people initiatives that contribute to organisational performance, employee engagement, talent development and retention at Save Children Australia.

You will be part of our Talent and Organisational Development team and report to our Head of Talent and Organisational Development.


  • You will make an impact by: _
  • Delivering our businessasusual talent practices and designing new talent investment projects
  • Contributing to the design of frameworks, principles and processes that form the foundation of our employee value proposition (EVP)
  • Designing, developing and implementing leadership and capability development learning solutions
  • Supporting the implementation of our Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Roadmap
  • Providing organisational health checking mechanisms
  • Overseeing our learning management system (LMS)

Does this sound like you?


You have a solid grasp of organisational development principles with experience in some of the following areas - leadership development, talent management, career pathways/progression, organisational health checking/employee engagement.

You have a high level of integrity, passion and reliability, taking a UX approach in partnership with business unit stakeholders to drive the delivery of outcomes.

  • A solid understanding of organisational development principles
  • Strong time management and organisational skills ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent business communication and visual management skills
  • Exceptional customer service focus (both internal and external stakeholders)
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
