About the role
The Facilities Strategy Coordinator will work within the SEQ Stations and Facilities Asset Management team based in Brisbane CBD.

The role will be responsible for the creation and development of conceptual planning for capital projects in order to support Queensland Rail operations and customer amenity.


Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include

  • Preparation of concept documentation which is aligned with capital funding model
  • Regular liaison with project management team & project planning team
  • Perform infrastructure design reviews
  • Capital Budget development including project estimates, planning and management of
  • Creation and development of business case and other project initiation documents
  • Conduct project design reviews with a focus upon customer and whole of life asset management
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders including State and Local Government bodies for externally led projects
  • Reporting across all facets of the role including Project Initiation and Capital Budget management

About you

  • Project management experience in a facility/ asset management environment
  • Strong document writing skills
  • Ability to develop strategic concepts for assets
  • Experience managing budgets and financial requirements
  • Proven experience of working towards deadlines aligning projects & tasks to business requirements
  • Strong document writing skills
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to establish and develop working relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to be agile and highly adaptable to changing plans/ targets
