The Principal Program Officer is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high quality governance, reporting, and program management services across the Courts and Tribunals Digitisation program within the Department of Justice and Attorney-General.

In this role you would be working closely with project managers from within the Courts and Tribunals Digitisation Program to provide a range of coordination and oversight of key program governance activities.

The Courts and Tribunals Digitisation Program commenced on 1 July 2022 and is a program of work that will streamline workflows, make better use of limited resources, improve user experience and enable the future move to a fully digitised and paperlite court and tribunal system. The program's vision is to establish accessible digital solutions for a responsive Queensland justice system. Solutions developed within the program will enable the digital lodgement of documents and general engagement with courts through an online portal and replace legacy case management systems with more contemporary and current technology.

Your key responsibilities

• Identify, plan and track program activities (scheduling) and dependencies.

• Monitor program risk and issue management and advise on remediation strategies and plans.

• Support the benefits identification process for projects and programs and assist with benefits realisation management.

• Develop and maintain program management collaboration tools, that may include SharePoint, Microsoft Planner, MS Project, and other tools including program/project management applications.

• Provide timely advice and communication to key stakeholders and governance bodies regarding program status, including the preparation of a range of time sensitive strategic and operational documents as required including briefing papers, reports, presentations, plans, strategies and submissions.

• Provide specialist input into program assurance plans, reviews and health checks, and lead reviews where required.

• Management and supervision of program office staff as required.

• Perform other essential duties and tasks specific to the position as required.
