Vestas Australia is excited to announce a new opportunity in the Power Plant Solutions Department. We are looking for an Assistant Lead Engineer for Plant Performance to oversee the technical aspects of Wind Farms' Power and Acoustics performance. The role involves ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and warranties.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage plant performance for assigned projects.
  • Create RFQs for engaging contractors and consultants.
  • Conduct internal analysis to validate asset performance.
  • Review designs and technical reports.
  • Provide technical expertise to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams locally and globally.
  • Enhance tools and processes and drive global improvements within Vestas.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or renewables.
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar field.
  • Preferably experience in wind or other renewable industries.

Competencies:
  • Experience in renewables assets operation, testing, or performance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (Required).
  • Intermediate SQL skills (Preferred).
  • Basic Python skills (Desired).
