As a mid-level DevOps & Cloud Engineer, you will be part of the Platform Engineering team responsible for facilitating cloud migration and delivery pipelines for the Decisioning platform. Our focus is on placing customers at the core of our operations. By leveraging technology, we aim to drive effective and prompt processing, a crucial element of exceptional customer service.

You will be joining our Decisioning Platform Squad, tasked with Future-Fit Development and upkeep to establish a world-class platform for Decisioning applications, deployment, management, monitoring, and overall system availability.

We are interested in individuals who:

• Possess a profound grasp of software delivery practices and methodologies within Agile frameworks
• Have extensive experience in containerization and orchestrating containers using Kubernetes
• Can establish end-to-end CICD pipelines incorporating automated testing and governance
• Demonstrate confidence in analyzing systems and technical solutions, monitoring system performance and availability, and ensuring SLAs are adhered to
• Handle production issues and see them through to complete resolution
• Collaborate with diverse application teams to maintain platform stability and security
• Execute any other duties delegated by your manager that align with your capabilities while following internal CBA Group policies and external regulatory standards
• Have a solid understanding of well-structured frameworks for cloud platform management

Technical Skills

We utilize a wide array of tools, languages, and frameworks. While proficiency in all is not expected, substantial experience and exposure to several of these (or equivalents) will position you well for success within this team.

• Proficiency in programming languages, ideally Java or Python
• Solid knowledge of Linux, UNIX, and Python scripting
• Good understanding of Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience in constructing CI/CD pipelines for platforms is preferred
• Experience in supporting services and infrastructure in AWS
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and automating manual tasks
• Sound knowledge of monitoring tools such as Appd, Splunk, and Grafana
