JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled dental assistant/receptionist to join our team in Indooroopilly. We are looking for someone who is available Monday to Friday.

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Adapt between roles (dental assistant and receptionist)
  • Quick learner
  • Ability to work well in a team environment but can also work independently when required
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Chair-side assistance
  • Sterilization procedures
  • Preparing for dental procedures
  • General reception, greeting patients
  • Scheduling and processing patient appointments via phone or in person
  • Manage patient invoicing and receipting (HICAPS private health fund and Medicare)
  • Reporting to practice manager
