Responsibilities:

  • Conducting legal research tasks
  • Preparing court documents for litigated matters
  • Handling document discovery
  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Attending client meetings and observing mediations and informal settlements
  • Managing small litigated matters from start to finish

We are looking to recruit law students in their later years of study on a flexible casual basis, working 2-5 days a week depending on study commitments and firm requirements. As a Paralegal, you will receive mentorship from senior lawyers, work on a diverse range of tasks, and gain valuable experience in various legal areas.

Requirements:

  • Law student in year 3 or 4 of a double degree or penultimate year of a single law degree
  • Available to work at least two full days per week during study semesters

This role provides an excellent opportunity for students seeking to enter the legal field or build on their existing office or legal experience.
