Objective:


You will be working as an integral part of the Australian finance team (with the wider finance team spread across Australia, Ireland and the UK).

You will be reporting into the Australian company accountant and primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts payable / accounts receivable functions for Australia.

This is a fixed term 12-month parental leave contract.

What you'll do:

  • Billing and collection
  • Maintaining price uplift invoicing
  • You will liaise with multiple business stakeholders, including senior management and third parties
  • Directing invoices to the relevant cost centre for approval and processing payments
  • Managing staff expense reimbursement
  • Monthly bank reconciliation
  • Support month end process, as required
  • Support year end audit process, as required
  • Continue to improve and streamline the payables process
  • Adhoc tasks

  • 2/3 years' post qualifications experience
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Possession of strong interpersonal skill
  • Excellent team player skills
  • Selfmotivated and flexible

Requirements:

  • Bookkeeping or Accounting Cert IV or Diploma
  • 2 years AP / AR experience
