We are seeking an experienced
Accounts Receivable Officer to manage our receivables, ensure timely collections, and maintain accurate financial records.


We have multiple positions available at the moment, a mix of permanent and fix - term roles


The
Accounts Receivable Officer will play an integral part in the BGIS finance team using a flexible and adaptable approach.


The responsibilities include:

  • Performing Accounts Receivable tasks, including receipting, raising invoices, generating invoice copies, maintenance of receipt registers, distribution of bank statements and preparation of bank journals.
  • Ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Supporting the finance and account teams with the maintenance of invoice registers and undertaking ad hoc accounts receivable queries as required.
  • Full compliance and consistency with the contract, BGIS services business system and relevant legislation and accounting standards. Providing support as required with finance and related matters and other ad hoc duties.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a property or corporate real estate environment or at a level in a similarly complex industry in an Accounts Receivable role.
  • A high level of demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft suite of products, including strong Excel capabilities to work with large volume data.
  • Experience in receipts registers, allocation of credit notes, generation and distribution of invoices, etc
- min 2 years experience as an Accounts receivable officer. Tertiary qualifications in business, accounting, or finance.
