The Cyber Security team protects the bank and our customers from theft, losses and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk.

Cyber Intelligence is responsible for providing timely and actionable intelligence products for detective, protective and preventative security controls.

Your new team:


As the Cyber Intelligence Analyst you will be joining the Cyber Intelligence Team part of the wider Cyber Resilience & Recovery division.


Your impact and contribution:


Reporting to the Senior Manager of Cyber Intelligence, you will play a significant role in the collection, analysis and dissemination of tactical, operational and strategic threat intelligence to inform security functions, services and activities designed to ensure that the bank maintains its risk and security posture at desired levels.


This includes:

  • Collect, process and analyse threat data to determine TTPs, weaknesses exploited, and exploitation methods in order to provide actionable cyber threat intelligence.
  • Produce timely, concise and wellresearched intelligence products including advisories, threat assessments, briefings, and reports through verbal and written means.
  • Identify patterns and trends in threat actor TTPs and campaigns to make recommendations to cyber defence teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Automate processing and production of threat intelligence data.
  • Coordinate and provide threat research and analysis to enterprisewide stakeholders to resolve cyber defence incidents.
  • Assist in identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating the protection of critical Group infrastructure and key resources.

We are interested in people who:

You are a technology expert with the ability to understand complex cyber threats, as well as well-developed and confident verbal and written communication skills.

You will have information security experience, ideally in operational security roles like hunting, forensics, or intrusion detection including:

  • Proficiency in writing tools to automate tasks and integrate systems.
  • Experience collecting and analysing open and closed source intelligence
  • Expertise with security technologies e.g. SIEM, Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP)
  • Ability to identify cyber threats which may jeopardise organisation and/or partner interests.
  • Understanding of Cyber-Attack stages, common adversarial tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) and MITRE ATT&CK framework
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills
