We have a position available for a Team Lead Control Systems Engineer, reporting to the Control Systems Manager.

This position will guide and mentor a team of skilled engineers to drive the development, implementation, and optimisation of control systems projects.


Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement control systems for a variety of applications.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of control systems engineers.
Act as the Technical Authority by ensuring technical integrity of all work performed on projects.
Manage and prioritise projects, ensuring work stays within budget and schedule.
Contribute technical expertise to the estimating and tender process and create tailored solutions for clients.
Prepare reports, documents, and deliverables.
Encourage a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within the team.

About You:
Experience (10+ years) with control systems in the mining and resource sector.
Bachelor's degree in electrical, control systems, or mechatronic engineering, or a related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High levels of attention to detail and a passion for quality outputs.
Broad interests in the Operational Technology space and the ability to work across various platforms for different customers.
Experience with SCADA (Citect, Wonderware, Factory Talk, Cimplicity).
PLC experience (Rockwell Allen-Bradley, Schneider, GE, Emerson).
DCS experience desirable.
Client focused and the ability to build and maintain working relationships.
Project management skills and experience.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, Visio
