Insolvency Analyst


A top 10 Accounting and Advisory firm in Australia is loving for a new member to join their insolvency team.

With a promotion system based on merit and not tenure their is huge potentially for career progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising the preparation of receipt authority, payment authority, and day one investigation letters, as well as statutory forms.
  • Conducting investigations for assigned engagements.
  • Supporting the trade of a business.
  • Conducting stocktakes of company goods.
  • Preparing reports to ASIC.
  • Aiding in the preparation of letters of demand.
  • Generating reports to creditors and other stakeholders containing statutory information.
  • Drafting correspondence and serving as the main point of contact for communications with creditors, employees, directors, and other stakeholders on engagements.
  • Assisting in realising assets of the company or individual.
  • Analysing company financials.

The Successful Applicant:

  • Business/Commerce degree with an Accounting Major.
  • Law degree with an interest in Insolvency.

Desirable:

  • Commencement of CA or equivalent.

Demonstrated Experience & Attributes:

Essential:

  • 12 years in a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Desirable:

  • Strong analytical skills.
