About the Role:
People Operations Business Partner:
As a People Operations Business Partner at Amber, you will be instrumental in supporting the company's growth by collaborating with managers, developing projects to enhance employee experience and success, and ensuring a cohesive community atmosphere. We firmly believe that fostering a culture where every individual can thrive and feel supported is crucial for our long-term success. At Amber, managers play a pivotal role in shaping our people processes and strategy, and your role will involve closely working with them to streamline operations and reduce obstacles across the organization. Reporting to the Director of People Operations, we are seeking a versatile people ops professional with a passion for solving intricate problems and a keen focus on operational efficiency. As a self-starter who is results-driven and enjoys nurturing talent, you will continuously seek ways to enhance our practices and contribute to a seamless employee experience within a rapidly expanding startup environment.
People Operations Business Partner Responsibilities:
- Guide and coach managers on various people-related areas such as performance management and change management
- Utilize feedback to enhance Amber's core people processes and introduce new initiatives for organizational scalability
- Address common startup challenges proactively through improved processes and technology utilization
- Employ data and analytics to derive insights and shape our overall approach
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders within the business
- Support recruitment activities and offer guidance on sound recruitment practices
- Manage employee information and compensation updates efficiently
- Ensure prompt response to employee queries and uphold efficient, well-documented people processes that promote a positive employee experience
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and establish workplace policies and procedures
Key Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in People Operations/HR roles
- Background in high-growth tech firms with emphasis on supporting technical leaders
- Profound understanding of employment laws and equal opportunity regulations
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build trust with internal stakeholders
- Previous experience in managing employee initiatives and providing training will be advantageous
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
