The Role


Reporting into the Director of Risk Operations, this role will require you to balance strategic thinking with tactical changes to continually drive efficiency improvements in the Risk Operations team.

As part of the FanDuel Risk leadership team, you will be responsible for helping to set the long term vision of the Risk department and defining and measuring what delivering the best Risk Management practices means.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating & tracking key performance metrics that establish the impact of Risk Operations responsibilities & decisions
  • Owning Risk performance reporting at a team & individual risk manager level
  • Creating & owning a Risk Operations demand view for risk reporting and analysis & working with external teams to deliver against these demands
  • Working with people managers within the team and key external stakeholders, providing feedback & collaborating to optimise processes and drive performance improvements
  • Document problems within the Risk Operations team & ensure appropriate resources based on opportunity size are assigned
  • Creating & owning a Risk Operations demand view for product improvements & working with external teams to deliver innovative tools to meet these demands
  • Driving the delivery of scalable solutions, recognizing the value automations can help realise
  • Facilitate collaboration and problemsolving with other key business stakeholders
  • Ensure all Risk considerations are captured within our betting platform evolution project
  • Build & maintain key working relationships with key partners around the globe
  • Be a mentor to other members of the team & help ensure work is performed optimally in terms of accuracy, efficiency & speed

About You
You will be customer-focused and always consider the potential impact to customers from a risk perspective.

Along with this, you will also have:

  • Expert risk management and betting knowledge
  • Evidence of knowledgesharing and process improvement/optimization
  • Strong organisational and forwardplanning skills with the ability to present and influence senior stakeholders
  • Excellent reportwriting skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Comprehensive knowledge of US betting landscape
