Your role as a Home Visit Pathology Collector:

As a Home Visit Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist), you will be conducting home visits, as well as travelling to ACF, Nursing Homes and Group Homes, collecting blood & coordinating specimen samples from patients, using your empathy and drive to deliver great customer service and quality healthcare.

No day will be the same as you travel between different sites and patient homes to provide the highest quality of care.

Reporting to the Collection Lead, and joining a passionate team, you will play a pivotal role in positively impacting the health of Australians.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Collecting samples (blood and non-blood) with care and attention Keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample Deliver documentation within strict turnaround times Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing Liaising with customers, clinic staff and couriers

About you

Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy/ Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a healthcare background Previous experience with conducting ECG's, Holter Monitoring and APB You have excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy You are organised, with strong time management and attention to detail You are able to work autonomously, sometimes working independently in a solo clinic Hold a valid Driver's license and your own vehicle, with the flexibility to travel between different sites Hold a working with Children's Check or be willing to obtain one You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work

Vaccination Requirements

Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is a requirement of this role Other vaccinations based on location may be required / setting
