About the role
Grampians Health has an exciting Business Administration Traineeship opportunity for those looking to start or restart their career


The program, which is undertaken in conjunction with BGT (training provider) will commence in mid-June 2023 for a 12 month, fixed-term period with successful applicants being enrolled in Certificate III upon commencement.


As a trainee you will work five days per week with dedicated study days and you will receive on-the-job training to put your study into practice.

Successful applicants will possess a high degree of flexibility and a willingness to learn and must demonstrate competence in the following behaviours and requirements:

Additionally, you'll be responsible for the smooth operation of our car parks, including setting up access, performing maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Your role will also encompass becoming an expert in managing fleet vehicles, from procuring new vehicles to coordinating repairs and maintenance.


As part of your duties, you'll wash vehicles and proactively identify and address any issues, such as worn tires or dents.

You'll work towards upgrading your driver's license to operate larger vehicles like buses or trucks.

Moreover, you'll utilize software systems like 'Poolcar' to manage fleet utilization effectively. This will involve adding and deleting users, coordinating executive vehicle leases, and making informed decisions to address underutilization.

Requirements/Eligibility

  • Must meet criteria for eligibility in the Traineeship Certificate III Business Administration
  • Must meet the Australian Governments Apprenticeship criteria
  • Successful completion of the Language, Literacy and Numeracy requirements
