Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Tandem Partners Full time

Our client is a large market-leading global organisation, who are at the final stages of an acquisition, which would see them transitioning a 250 people into their business across multiple sites across Australia & New Zealand.

This is a newly created role, reporting into the Head of HR, and working closely with the PMO Transition team, and the Senior Leadership teams across the businesss.

You will be dedicated to focusing on the cultural integration of the two businesses with a focus on advising the senior leaders.

More specifically this role will see you: working on designing and implementing organisational change plans; internal communications plans and partnering with the HR team and senior leaders to ensure the transition is successful from a cultural integration. You will focus on leadership, engagement, workplace culture, organisational values, and harmonization of ways of working, policies and process, position and organisational design changes, workplace decision-making, and organisational performance. Running workshops, measuring the integration's success, and identifying risks along the way. This role will not be involved in the workplace relations piece, or the overall business operations, as a project team will work on the contractual, workplace relations, and remuneration & benefits side, this is more focused on employee experience and coaching leaders about the changes and people changes, and the related harmonisation into the broader global business.

To be successful in this role, you will be a HR/OD Manager who has had experience in large-scale acquisition, workplace organisational change, and employee transitions, having direct experience in workplace cultural integration in a qualified, corporate, multi-site environment.

You will be comfortable being hands-on, operational, and able to build relationships and influence without authority, as an individual contributor, working with multiple departments at all levels, across a large complex organisation.

You will have either specialist HR/OD projects experience, operating from within a HR team, or HR/OD generalist with relevant M&A or organisational change project experience.

It's important that you've worked on people transitions from within an in-house HR department, or related consulting experience from within HR, to be considered for this role.

Tertiary qualifications are highly desirable.
