ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to join the Pharmacy Department at Werribee Mercy Hospital, an expanding public health service that is committed to ensuring high quality, evidencebased, personcentred, safe and effective patient care. This position will be integral in delivering clinical pharmacy services to our patients and working as part of a multidisciplinary member of the health care team.

  • Part Time (0.8EFT 4 days/week), Fixed Term (12 month) maternity leave cover


 Classification
  • Pharmacy Technician Grade
  • Pharmacy technician required to provide patient focused quality pharmaceutical service at Werribee Mercy Hospital.
  • Inventory and procurement management: medication purchasing/distribution to pharmacy and ward imprest, dispensing and extemporaneous manufacturing.
  • This position offers applicants the challenges and rewards of working in a small but dedicated team.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support (Equivalent, or eligible to be enrolled).
  • Sound communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficient IT skills (Prior Merlin software knowledge desirable).
