About the role
We have an opportunity for a
Platform Owner to be part of our Technology and Communication Services Command.

The role is responsible for the strategic management and overall success of technology platforms within NSW Police Force with a primary focus on overseeing the lifecycle of the platform, from initial planning and design to ongoing operations and continuous improvement.


To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Understanding of IT Service Delivery processes and experience in following the best practice in IT service management, including preparation of technical documentation.
  • Understanding of core network infrastructure components including WANs/LANs & routing and voice delivery.
  • Experience in managing service operations including in large organisations with multiple locations of sites.
  • Experience in leading a small team of network specialists to ensure the most optional service performance in alignment with expected service KPIs, through appropriate event management and proactive maintenance practices.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to relevant stakeholders and work collaboratively with thirdparty service providers on solutions.
  • University degree or tertiary qualification in related field with equivalent experience.
