ABOUT THIS ROLE

Our client is seeking a motivated field service representative to provide requirements, design, verification, and validation focusing on radio communication systems and the Defence Aerospace sector. You will play a vital role in providing on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and training for Defence contracts and serve as the primary point of contact for clients. We are looking for a driven individual who has a deep understanding on radio communications (HF, VHF, UHF and Tactical Radios). Are you ready to take on this career changing opportunity?

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver on-site technical assistance and troubleshooting for radio communications and avionics systems.
  • Support program testing activities and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure testing meets their requirements,
  • Working closely with the technical and system engineering team
  • Act as the main contact for Defence clients.
  • Oversee project activities, including installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve project objectives.

SKILLS & EXPERINECE NEEDED

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1.
  • Australian Citizenship is required.
  • Degree or Certificate IV in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must have relevant experience in field service engineering in the Defence sector.
  • Experience and understanding of radio communication and avionics systems such as HF, Tactical Radios and/or military GPS systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for communicating
  • Experience in handling multiple projects.
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
