Job Description

A day in the life of a Team Leader

Due to our continued growth in ourMelbourneteam, an opportunity has become available fora Team Leader. You will provide leadership and direction to a team of Rehab Consultants whilstmanagingacaseload of your own.Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coaching a team of consultants
  • Mentoring and training junior staff members
  • Overseeing the team's performance and quality
  • Exploringnew opportunities and growth areas
  • Undertaking initial, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment and home assessments
  • Identifying Return To Work barriers& strategies for clients across large customers
  • Designing, implementing and monitoring RTW programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce as required
Qualifications

What you'll bring to the role

  • Qualifications and registration inOccupational Therapy, Physiotherapy,Exercise Physiology, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • At least 12 monthsexperience in workers compensation, rehabilitation and occupational health and safety legislation
  • A willingness to travel (Current Vehicle and Drivers Licence compulsory)
  • A confident approach towards engaging with multiple stakeholders such as insurers, medical practitioners, employers, colleagues and employees
  • An inclusive and integrative attitude towards engaging with the many diverse cultural groups that make up the society in which we live and work
  • A passion for mentoring and coaching
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service to large customers
  • A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
