As the State HSE Manager, you will ensure a high standard of Health, Safety, and Environmental practices across projects. Duties include:- Provide strategic direction and leadership on all HSE matters across the state.
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal HSE regulations, particularly within the defense and government sectors.
- Conduct regular HSE training sessions for staff and subcontractors to promote awareness and adherence to safety standards.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential HSE risks on projects, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Lead investigations into HSE incidents, ensuring thorough reporting and analysis, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
- Prepare and present regular HSE performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular HSE audits and site inspections to ensure ongoing compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders regarding HSE matters, maintaining positive and professional relationships.
