Your Role
At Gallagher Bassett (GB), we provide a compassionate and innovative claims service for injured workers and Employers who have been impacted by a workplace injury.
With dedicated teams specialising in both physical and mental injury, we support injured workers with a holistic approach on their journey to return to work and to life.
As an Access to Information Officer, you will ensure the accurate provision of information relating to a Workcover claim, safeguarding the privacy of an injured worker's personal information and upholding Gallagher Bassett's commitment to protect that information and only disclose it to authorised parties.
You will add value to Gallagher Bassett across the following:
- Communicate with those who request access to information in a timely, polite and accurate manner
- Maintain all required controls, including ATI register
- Review all ATI requests in accordance with legislation and guidelines
- Check documents for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure staff compliance with stipulated timeframes
- Maintain ACCtion database
- Complete ATI requests within agreed timeframes
- Comply with Gallagher Bassett policies, procedures and controls in relation to record keeping responsibilities
We're interested in hearing from people who possess:
- Previous experience in the release of information under ATI/FOI
- Knowledge of general business and administrative practices
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- A friendly, team player attitude
- Excellent computer skills (such as Microsoft Office)
