Salon Receptionist
Are you a hair or beauty professional that loves the industry however is ready to step off the floor and become a receptionist/salon coordinator, with the potential of becoming a salon manger?

Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor, providing exceptional customer service from arrival to departure.
  • Manage a 'walkin' wait list & salon appointments.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding treatments, pricing, and availability.
  • Maintain a tidy and organised reception area, always ensuring cleanliness and professionalism.
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit/debit transactions, and issuing receipts.
  • Assist therapists and technicians with guest needs, including treatment information and homecare.
  • Manage inventory of retail products, including restocking shelves and assisting guests with product recommendations.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and updating guest records in salon software.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably within the hair & beauty industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in using salon management software and basic computer skills.
