As a Data Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting and implementing data management activities for the Tribe, COE, or program of work. Through your thorough analysis of data management standards, you contribute to keeping our customers 'a step ahead in life and business,' while assisting the bank in meeting regulatory data standards.

You will collaborate closely with various teams including Business Domain, Business Data Owners, Architects, Risk teams, and Data Governance and Data Management team to ensure data governance requirements are met, evaluate data integrity, and promote strong data management practices.

This role is essential for executing the Bank's data governance framework, ensuring sustainable data management practices that result in well-defined, consistent, and high-quality data aligning with our mission of advancing our customers and employees in life and business.

What you'll do ...
  • Offer guidance and support to establish data controls.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing recommendations for data retention, deletion, and anonymization.
  • Ensure compliance with local and global regulatory standards.
  • Participate in governance forums to establish data quality and integrity controls.
  • Recommend data quality and integrity controls across the data life cycle.
  • Facilitate business approvals for data management activities.
What we're looking for...
  • Experience with tools supporting data governance and data management.
  • Previous experience in managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including expertise in SQL.
  • Minimum 8 years in business roles focusing on Information Management or Reporting, preferably in banking/financial services.
  • Understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, data modeling, data analytics, and visualization.
  • Proven ability to deliver business results through a mix of interpersonal and technical skills.
