The Opportunity
We're seeking a Facilities Assistant to join our team full time in Perth You'll work as part of our Office Operations team and will be responsible for repairs and minor maintenance to office equipment and premises, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and assisting with new starter requirements, among other tasks. This is a permanent part-time position (Monday- Thursday, 10am - 5pm).
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Repairs and minor maintenance to office equipment and premises as required.
- Coordination of new starter requirements (eg, security cards, locker allocations).
- Manage the visitor process (including desk allocation and issuing of temporary security passes) in conjunction with the practice groups.
- Assist with housekeeping duties and maintaining of kitchens, supply & stock management of consumables.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Manager/Coordinator.
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and prioritize effectively
- Microsoft Office Skills (Basic to Intermediate)
- While not required, previous experience in a facilities position would be highly regarded.
