As an **experienced Business Analyst**, you will play a key role in an online business insurance service focused on simplifying the process of comparing and purchasing business insurance from top insurers. The company's founders were dedicated to providing small businesses with fair insurance coverage, making it easier to access the right insurance in an industry dominated by major players.

Now, we are seeking an **Agile Technical Business Analyst** with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our Delivery Team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Product Owner / BA Lead, breaking down epics into features and turning high-level requirements into user stories. You will take charge of defining and implementing the team's backlog, translating the product vision into actionable user stories for the Engineering and QA teams to efficiently work from.

As an **Agile Technical Business Analyst** at BizCover, your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and refining tickets to ensure they align with high-level feature requirements
  • Supporting the PO/BA Lead in gathering and understanding business requirements
  • Assisting developers and quality assurance team in delivering agreed user stories and validating that solutions meet business requirements
  • Facilitating key meetings like requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end user training
Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as an Agile BA with expertise in Scrum and Kanban methodologies
  • Proficiency in developing story mapping diagrams
  • Experience using MoSCoW at both high-level and ticket-level basis
  • Technical knowledge, preferably SQL or working with .net teams
  • Creating User Flows diagrams
  • Familiarity with Design Thinking/Human-Centered Design practices
  • Basic understanding of Jira/Confluence/Miro/Team Retro
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of principles like INVEST in creating user stories
  • Experience in supporting UAT activities to ensure meeting business requirements
