Position Introduction/Key Duties

Cimarron is seeking an Industrial HVAC Technician with an Active TS/SCI clearance to support a new program in Alice Springs, Australia. The selected candidate for this position will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and equipment in industrial settings. The Industrial HVAC Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning of HVAC systems for large-scale industrial facilities.

This is a temporary assignment that will last for 5-6 weeks and will include per diem to cover travel expenses.

Key Duties:

  • Install and maintain industrial heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, including ductwork, air handling units, fan coils, and running copper lines.
  • Install valves and wet taps for industrial HVAC systems.
  • Identify and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for industrial HVAC systems, including maintenance risks on equipment.
  • Ensure operational compliance with industrial regulations and standards.
  • Perform warranty and emergency repairs to maintain optimal functioning of industrial HVAC systems.
Required/Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Active TS/SCI
  • Willing to travel overseas for 5-6 weeks.
  • HVAC Certification.
  • 1 or more years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in ductwork, air handling units, fan coils, running copper lines, installing valves, and wet solder for industrial HVAC systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and address electrical and mechanical faults in industrial HVAC systems.
  • Commitment to prioritizing safety and compliance with industrial regulations in all tasks.
  • Proven experience in industrial HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph.
