The Role:

The position can be full-time or flexible hours and days that suit you. We have a range of days available for teaching between 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. Weekend work may also be available.

At MultiSkills Training, we are looking to "grow our own" educators of the future and may consider supporting you through a cadetship model. You could be working as a trainer, under the supervision of a qualified Trainer & Assessor, whilst you work towards your Cert IV TAE401122 Training & Assessment."_

Requirements:

Key responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and relevant training & assessment services (combined theory and practical activities)

  • Ensure content and delivery of accredited courses meets ASQA/ RTO Standards and other applicable regulations (i.e. HSE/DET, WorkSafe )
  • Supervise students' behaviours and provide engaging and motivating training
  • Maintain equipment, training venues and training aids to ensure they are serviceable, clean, tidy, and safe for operation
  • Travel may be required to deliver training offsite
  • Perform other general duties as required

Essential criteria:

  • Recent work experience within the building, construction/ civil industries
  • Be accredited by WorkSafe (or ability to gain accreditation, if applicable)
  • Be eligible to obtain a Working Children Check Card
  • You will need to be an Australian Resident
  • Must hold valid Australian Drivers Licence
