  • Our Sales teams play a key role in fulfilling Reckitt's mission by building mutually beneficial relationships with our customers to ensure access to top-quality products both in-store and online.

Within Sales, our focus is on achieving outstanding results across all channels in highly competitive categories. This results in a lively and fast-paced environment where teamwork is encouraged across different departments to achieve success.

We have approximately 10,000 sales professionals worldwide, in various market roles including Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing, and Category Development.

About the Role

Are you enthusiastic about shaping the customer experience and influencing the journey of leading brands in the market? As a Category Development Manager at Reckitt, your strategies will have a direct impact on engaging customers and partners. You will collaborate with key customers, utilizing insights to guide their category strategy, while paying attention to the finer details of product, price, promotion, and place. In this role, you will work with diverse teams to create category plans that resonate with customers and drive our brands to new heights. Your Responsibilities
  • Develop category-specific strategies using the 4Ps to drive sales and enhance our market position.
  • Translate brand strategy into actionable plans that excite customers and seamlessly integrate with their shopping experiences.
  • Enhance strategies with comprehensive market insights, staying updated on trends and competitor activities.
  • Oversee the annual range review and 4P planning process, establishing successful models for the Sales team to implement.
  • Lead new product initiatives to ensure a strong market presence and highlight the value we bring.
  • Conduct detailed financial modeling to support strategic decisions and promote operational excellence.
The Experience We're Looking For

A solid background in sales or marketing with a proven track record of creating compelling customer marketing initiatives.

Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of Customer Management processes.

Skilled in analyzing various data sources and transforming them into actionable plans.

Excellent communication and influencing skills, proficient in engaging stakeholders and negotiation.

Proficiency in utilizing Syndicated Data (e.g., Nielsen / IRI) and tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant category management software.
