Our team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of
Operational Performance - Rostering Manager at our
Melbourne Airport location, employed on a
Full-time basis basis.


The Position:


Working for ISS Security at Melbourne Airport, the Rostering Manager will be responsible as the key point contact for the ISS management team, ensuring that the ISS roster capability fulfils operational requirements, industrial commitments, resilience and adaptability.


The role will provide operational roster capability to ensure the organisation remains operationally agile and resilient within a dynamic and highly regulated security environment.

This includes the analysis and projection of short to medium term (0-3 months in advance) demand forecast data, utilising this information to design and fortify the operational rosters.

Minimum Criteria:

  • Ability to obtain an ASIC (currently hold an ASIC)
  • Highly developed presentation skills with the ability to present to staff and customers at all levels
  • Demonstrable strategic planning skills
  • Highly developed problem solving and conceptual skills
  • Have sound understanding of ISS Aviation Security capabilities, contractual obligations, aviation compliance and legislative requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills written and verbal
  • Proven ability to work in matrix organisation and maintain effective working relationship
  • Extensive experience using workforce planning systems and payroll, ERP or similar systems
  • Highly developed computer literacy skills (Windows systems, Microsoft Office Suite, etc)
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel competency
  • Extensive experience in workforce management, roster development and optimisation
  • Experience in operational planning and implementation
  • Sound understanding of operational management
  • Experience in workforce management
  • Experience in roster performance leadership or organistional capability
  • Min 3 years' management and leadership experience of a complex business entity with a large workforce
Sound understanding of budgeting and financial management
