- Attend outreach clinics in Greater Newcastle and in country centers as designated by the hospital.
- A primary medical degree registrable with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Eligibility for Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and/or equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the Enterprise Agreement of the Health Insurance Act 1973.
- Eligibility for Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA) and/or equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the Enterprise Agreement or the Health Insurance Act 1973.
- Clinical inpatient, outpatient, and laboratory experience in Haematology.
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work proficiently unsupervised and as a member of a multidisciplinary team during periods of high demand and activity in an organized manner.
