The Firm & The Role

Our client is a long established commercial law firm. This firm has a strong client base of major companies, SME's, high profile individuals, rural clients, high net worth individuals and companies in various industries such as FMG, construction, IT, telco, media, resources, manufacturing, property development. The partners and lawyers at this firm have a reputation for building strong relationships with their clients and they have become their clients trusted legal advisors.

Due to growth they are looking for an experienced Wills & Estates Lawyer at around the 1 to 4 years pae. A flavour of the work will include:

  • drafting complex wills
  • drafting testamentary trusts
  • setting up charitable trusts and discretionary family trusts
  • advising on succession planning
  • advising clients on trust and superannuation issues
  • advising on wealth protection
  • advising executors and trustees on their duties and obligations

There will also be opportunity for you to broaden your skill set and develop experience in the area of commercial, tax and property law including put and call options.

About You

  • You will be a wills & estate lawyer with around 1 to 4 years pae
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly-developed organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently, but within a team-focused environment
  • Ability to be creative and think outside the box
  • Drive, ambition and enthusiasm
