We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our passionate and innovative team of clinical nurses within the CPA Health Team. This is a full time position based in the Hunter Region reporting to the Health Manager.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist provides practice leadership, staff training and assessment, health advice and supports for clients with a disability to promote and maintain client health and wellbeing.
This role sits within CPA's Clinical Governance team and provides consultative support organisation-wide and will involve travel across CPA's sites in the Hunter area, with travel to head office at Allambie, and occasional travel to other CPA sites across metropolitan Sydney, and Central Coast. We offer flexible work conditions including some home-based work or out of one of our sites across the Hunter Region.
What will you bring to the role?
Relevant degree in Nursing or equivalent with five or more years' experienceCurrent Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRADemonstrated skills across all aspects of evidence-based practice and the management of complex clients.Strong skills in leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolutionAbility to motivate others.Strong skills to design and deliver professional development activities including clinical assessments, using different modes.An excellent understanding of the rights of people with disabilityCurrent driver's licenceThe ability to travel within the Hunter and Sydney Metropolitan Areas.How to Apply
