About the role


The
Strategic Projects - External Delivery team is responsible for responsible for interfacing with External Agencies in the planning and development of large rail infrastructure projects.


We have a great opportunity for a
Strategic Projects Technical Lead (PT5) to join a fantastic, collaborative team of experts and facilitate effective communication and technical coordination between external and internal stakeholders within the Strategic Projects portfolio.


As the Strategic Projects Technical Lead, you will be required to provide expert oversight and advice on systems engineering, general technical issues, asset acceptance, and assurance activities, ensuring alignment with QR's standards and industry frameworks.

The role does include a hands on component when developing technical documents and engaging with internal and external stakeholders on technical matters.

This is a
12-month, fixed-term opportunity (with the possibility of a 12-month extension) and based in Brisbane CBD.

The
starting base salary of $127,221 plus 12.75% superannuation and hybrid work options to support the balance between work and personal commitments.
