Where you come in:


In this full-time permanent position, based in Carlton, you will work on the preparation, lodgement, and payment of wages and ensure the accurate, timely, and efficient management of the payroll function.

You will be part of our Finance and Support Services team and report to our Payroll Manager.

  • You will make an impact by: _
  • Processing end to end payroll in conjunction with Payroll, Human Resources, and Finance teams
  • Ensuring the administration of WorkCover, superannuation, and PAYG obligations
  • Administering and processing employee changes in a timely and accurate manner
  • Performing month and year end reconciliation and reporting duties
  • Processing the month end super payments and uploading the Quicksuper file
  • Contributing to documentation of operational manuals
  • Administering employee queries and responding in a timely and accurate manner
  • Actively participating in process improvement reviews to continuously advance the performance of the payroll function

While you have a strong customer service focus, you're not afraid to push back when needed and escalate issues as required.

Your excellent organisational skills give you the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • This role requires: _
  • Previous experience in, and comprehensive working knowledge of, iChris/Chris21 is highly desired.
  • Experience processing payroll for 500+ employees
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and cando attitude
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of Payroll rules in general
