A reputable national fitout specialist is looking for a capable estimator to join its office-based team within Melbourne's CBD.

The business is based in two states, with Melbourne being their HQ. They have been growing steadily over the last 5 years and are a friendly and fun company that are profesional, yet don't take themselves too seriously. The business is busy, have been doing very well over recent years and are in a good financial position. The role will report straight into the Leadership Team / Directors and be in a small team and will tender on projects ranging in value from $1M - $7M.

It is an end-to-end lead estimating role managing and maintaining the subcontractor database, fostering strong relationships and obtaining competitive pricing and services. You will be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams, present estimates to the directors while maintaining a strong network of industry contacts and sub-contractors, in order to stay informed with the current market conditions and trends.

To be considered the following skills and attributes will be required:

  • A minimum of 7 years experience tendering on fit-out projects
  • A proven track record of winning projects from 500sqm sqm.
  • Be able to form successful relationships with subcontractors
  • Ability to tender on multiple projects simultaneously
  • D&C and ECI project experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have a strong fitout track record
  • Procore software experience preferred but not essential
The successful applicant will receive a leading salary starting at $120,000 up to $150,000 total package dependent on experience. This is offered from a forward thinking modern day company who values all of its employees, and are a dynamic and fun team with a really positive company culture.
