This role would suit someone with an eye for detail, an analytical mind and a desire to pursue a role in HR.


As a HR Services Coordinator you will be responsible for providing effective and timely service delivery of employee lifecycle events, including Workday (our HRIS) and administrative duties relating to existing employee changes and providing support and guidance for onboarding and offboarding of employees in line with company policies and procedures.


The HR Services Coordinator provides assistance and guidance to the HR Team and business on Workday and employee lifecycle events, whilst ensuring compliance with all audit requirements.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining employee lifecycle events, including:
  • Checking of all new hire offer letters and employment contracts and providing feedback and resolution to issues identified
  • Preparation of employment contracts, all other lifecycle related letters and associated paperwork for existing employees;
  • Working in partnership with HR Partners and Talent team to ensure accurate employee records in Workday;
  • Working in collaboration with the Payroll team to ensure all employee data including remuneration details are accurately recorded in the payroll system within the established payroll deadlines; and
  • Administering the HR inbox and actioning all requests and queries within agreed SLA's.
  • Ensure all employee lifecycle activities are compliant with relevant Acts, policies and audit requirements.
  • Partner with the HR team to ensure all online employee folders are current and up to date.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to HR Partners, payroll, leaders and employees in following policies and processes and act as a point of contact for Workday / employee lifecycle related queries.
  • Running of reports and completing audits per Audit Findings & Actions Register.
  • Work in partnership with the broader HR team to ensure consistent, timely and accurate delivery of project outcomes.
  • Assisting the Reward, Policy & HRIS team with projects and administrative tasks.
Required attributes

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and highly service oriented.
  • Strong planning, time management and organisation skills.
  • Strong numeracy and basic reporting skills.
  • Previous experience within a HR / Payroll services role
  • Knowledge of HR organisational policies and practices.
  • Knowledge of current employment legislation.
