About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for a Grade 2 physiotherapist to join the physiotherapy department at St. Vincent's Hospital. The role involves providing top-notch physiotherapy management to rehabilitation patients at the Fitzroy campus. Additionally, it includes overseeing students, Grade 1 staff, and Allied Health Assistants, as well as taking a leadership role within the department.

Applications from current Grade 2 physiotherapists or experienced Grade 1 physiotherapists will be considered. Possession of relevant postgraduate qualifications is highly valued. This role offers an exciting chance for an enthusiastic physiotherapist to be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in clinical practice and professional development.

Must hold, or be eligible for, National Physiotherapist Registration.

Classifications for this position range from VB1 to VB4.

Duties include

  • Provide clinical management for rehabilitation patients
  • Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and provide education to patients
  • Communicate assessment and treatment outcomes to other healthcare staff
  • Supervise and teach physiotherapy students
  • Develop new initiatives for service provision
