Currently engaged in projects in these markets, we are seeking skilled individuals to join our team. The projects involve industrial organics processing, large conveyor systems, and handling machines in Australia and Asia.

About the role
We are hiring an experienced Project Engineer to join our Project Delivery team preferably based in Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, or Perth. This team is responsible for project delivery from pre-works to commissioning and handover. The Project Engineer oversees all project phases and interfaces, ensuring quality control and successful commissioning. Collaboration, communication, and attention to detail are essential in this role.

Key responsibilities and skills include:

- Supporting the Project Manager in project delivery
- Participating in design reviews
- Managing subcontractors and suppliers
- Conducting quality inspections
- Collaborating with construction supervisors
- Implementing quality control processes on-site
- Preparing documentation for sub-contracts
- Evaluating tenders and proposals
- Identifying technical issues
- Supporting project control teams
- Managing construction activities
- Implementing risk management principles
- Administering quality management plans
- Leading project commissioning

Skills and experience
Key qualifications and experience:
- 5+ years in Construction Industry
- Advanced knowledge of construction management
- Understanding of inspection processes
- Schedule and budget management skills
- Experience in Design & Construction projects
- Strong time and project management skills
- Relevant Engineering degree
- Proficiency in Project Management software
- Willingness to travel for site visits
- Availability for full-time on-site commissioning
