- The Senior Project Engineer is accountable for providing engineering support and coordination for TasWater Capital Delivery Office Projects, overseeing design, supply, installation, and testing. The main goal of this role is to ensure projects are completed efficiently and cost-effectively to meet client agreements.
- Assist the Project Manager in adhering to the necessary documentation within CDO/UGL Management System.
- Collaborate with the Team Lead / Project Engineer to review and plan projects, ensuring clarity on technical aspects and understanding of client agreements.
- Communicate with Project Engineer / Project Supervisor to keep track of project timelines.
- Act as the main contact for technical queries from subcontractors/suppliers.
- Develop comprehensive scope of works for RFT (Request for Tender) and RFQ (Request for Quote) documentation, ensuring all technical specifications and references are included.
- Prepare and manage procurement packages, encompassing design, supply, and installation lump sum along with schedule of rates.
- Coordinate closely with designers and suppliers to devise design solutions.
- Oversee the project from an engineering perspective, maintaining an open-minded approach to problem-solving.
