About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant with experience in mental health settings to join the Ramsay Clinic Albert Road Research Unit (RCARRU) through a collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry. Supporting Professor Malcolm Hopwood's research program on mood disorders, the successful candidate will be involved in participant recruitment, administering mental health measures, data collection, and entry.Your responsibilities will include:
Recruitment of participants into active research Interview participants using a battery of standardised clinical assessment instruments, in accordance with a research protocol Assist with the implementation of research at the Ramsay Clinic Albert Road Collect accurate data and assist with data entry, verification and basic data analysisWho We Are Looking For
You will have excellent attention to detail, strong collaborative skills, and demonstrated administrative and organisational abilities in a research setting. Additionally, you will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills f and the ability to work independently with multidisciplinary stakeholders while following directions as needed.
You will also have:
A degree in the psychology, nursing, behavioural or social sciences, allied health and/or related discipline, with subsequent experience A strong interest in mood disorders, mental health interventions and an understanding of psychiatric diagnoses and disorders Demonstrated experience and ability to conduct interviews and use standardised mental health clinical assessment instruments Demonstrated ability to adhere to a research protocol, problem solving skills and an awareness of the principles of the International Conference on Harmonisation and Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP)For further information regarding responsibilities and requirements, please refer to the attached PD.
