This role will be providing the highest possible standard of support and clinical case work to clients within a trauma informed care framework.


  • Qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, Counselling, or other relevant fields (Diploma minimum)
  • Experience in working in case work or counselling role with women, children and young people who have experienced Domestic and Family Violence
  • Experience in social or community work, counselling, and group facilitation
  • Extensive experience working in a trauma informed, client centred way
  • Experience in working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities
  • Experience in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people/communities
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin or Thai is desirable
  • Models & promotes BaptistCare vision, purpose and practises & leads others aligned with our Shared Values
  • Excellent communication skills verbally and written
  • Advanced skills in risk assessment and case work relating to Domestic and Family Violence
  • Demonstrated ability to be selfmotivated but also work collaboratively as part of a wider team
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders, services, agencies, departments, and government and nongovernment organisations
  • Actively engages in clinical supervision and line management
  • Holds a current and valid Working with Children Check/Working with Vulnerable People Registration
  • Current drivers' licence required
