This role is perfect for someone who thrives in an environment that supports process efficiency improvement, risk reduction, increased employee satisfaction and improved rostering practices.

As a Software Tester, you will work under the guidance of the Test Lead to ensure the successful planning, execution, and documentation of testing activities.


What you'll do:

  • Collaborating with the test lead and team members to plan, write, and execute test cases
  • Creating and maintaining defects in the designated test tool to a high standard
  • Reviewing acceptance criteria and developing traceability to test cases
  • Participating in test execution for releases and updating progress reporting
  • Writing high-quality test cases, for effective reuse by others
  • Maintaining effective relationships with test team members and stakeholders
  • Utilising existing methods and tools as directed
  • Updating documentation of methods and tools as directed
Collaborating with business representatives in UAT as required What you bring:

  • Experience in software testing is essential
  • Experience particularly in the realm of any Workforce Management Systems is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Integration testing (API, SFTP etc.) is required
  • Knowledge of Time and Attendance testing would be advantageous
  • Experience with Awards and EBAs testing would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of Scheduling/Rostering testing would be desirable
