Your Role:


You will provide excellent IT support for the ANZ business by ensuring that all IT related issues are addressed timely manner and networks, servers and systems are available at all times during business hours.

You will work with local and the regional team to support the business.

and implement hardware replacements as well as take the lead locally on global IT infrastructure projects, working with regional colleagues.


  • Act as the key point of contact for all ITrelated issues. Be proactive, adaptable and coordinated for all Helpdesk Support AU (and backup support for NZ), to minimize end user down time
  • Daily, Weekly, and Monthly System Checks
  • Updating System Documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the business on all ITrelated issues and be seen as a goto person for IT solutions
  • Sets up equipment for employee use, performs or ensures proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Installs and performs minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
  • Conducts computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Determines computer software or hardware needed to set up or alter system.
  • Responds to and diagnoses problems through discussion with clients.
  • Designs and conducts hardware or software tests.
  • Assists in inventory control and asset management.
  • Assist local & regional teams with server system administration and support and work with vendors for fixing and system upgrades as required.
  • Assisting IT Operations Lead with planning and placing hardware refresh.
  • UPS Monitoring and Maintenance.
  • Assisting the APAC Network team with network upgrades/faults.
  • Attending APAC Helpdesk meetings and participating when required.
  • Responsible for planning and carrying out the IT Induction sessions for new users. Ensure new staff are provided with the required hardware on time (computer and phone and or mobile)
  • Maintain system documentation and change control logs
  • Diagnosing PC \ Hardware faults and supply solutions as required
  • Assisting in the updates of software as required eg Antivirus, WSUS etc
  • Maintain the MS Excel based system documentation so it is up to date equipment registers, Mobile phone register etc
  • Analyze data from various sources and generate accurate reports on computers, servers, mobile phones.
  • Assisting technical staff in the event of critical system failures
  • Assisting staff with software issues e.g. O365 products etc

Minimum Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related field
  • ITIL Certification is preferred.
  • Outstanding skills with Office 365 suite of products.

  • Adhere to OHS policies and procedures and ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment
  • Adhere to the Chain of Responsibility obligations under the Australian Heavy Vehicle National Law
  • Your position may require you to participate in oncall work. If you are on call you are required to be available for immediate return to work outside of your normal and regular work pattern. Should this be a requirement of your position, you will be remunerated per the Company's policy.
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborate with staff at various levels of the business and run small projects
  • Showing interest to work outside of business hours where vital
  • Ability to prioritize helpdesk jobs according to business priorities
