About the role

Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, we are currently seeking an experienced Desktop Support Administrator to join the team. In this role you will provide desktop support, assist with onboarding and resolve immediate issues for internal FLEETCOR employees across two Melbourne offices. At least two days a week, you will be required to work in our Corpay office on Elizabeth Street in the CBD.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following activities:

  • Making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
  • Process equipment changes from general equipment requests for: PC's, laptops, headset, monitors, mobile phone, and printers.
  • Maintenance of image software for desktop operating system and required applications.
  • Communicate project status including tasks, iterations and milestones in a timely manner as required.
  • Maintenance of inventory of replacement systems.
  • Documenting of internal procedures, troubleshooting steps and known issues.

About You

You are customer service-oriented, have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse and fast-paced environment. You are courteous and polite, as well as self-motivated with the ability to work well without close supervision.

To be considered for this role, you must also have the following skills and experience:

  • 3+ years' experience in a Help Desk tier 1/tier 2 role.
  • Proven background with core operating systems and applications:
    • ServiceNow
    • Zoom Phone
    • AWS Workspaces
    • Desktop imaging experience
    • Microsoft Intune
    • Jira
    • Confluence
    • Okta
    • Cisco Endpoint
    • M365
  • Above average knowledge of MS Office, Exchange, Active Directory, Office 365, SQL server, Windows OS, networking protocols and peripheral management required.
  • Bachelor's degree in technology and Cisco CCNA/and or MCSA certification preferred.

We require someone who is able to work in office conditions but will be required to visit other department locations with data processing and related communication equipment. In addition, the successful applicant must be able to lift, move and inspect computers, printers and related equipment and be capable of sitting for prolonged periods of time at a computer screen.
