HSE Advisor to join their team.

Role Overview:


As an HSE Advisor, reporting to our client's HSE Manager, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining HSE requirements across diverse project sites.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with legislative, statutory, client, and internal HSE standards. Your expertise will contribute to fostering a culture of safety and excellence within the organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project teams to establish and enforce sitespecific HSE requirements.
  • Maintain accurate HSE statistics and provide reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Implement and maintain project HSE Management Plans,
  • Design and maintain Level 2 Risk Assessments, and HSE Procedures.
  • Conduct HSE inspections, audits, and provide training to ensure compliance.
  • Promote hazard identification and control measures in the workplace.
  • Drive goals to meet Health, Safety, and Environmental KPIs.
  • Manage emergency procedures, fire safety arrangements, and policies.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, providing recommendations for prevention.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Work Health and Safety
  • Cert IV WHS
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role in the Mining Construction industry.
  • High Risk Work License (Worksafe Certificate).
  • TAE40116 Cert IV Training & Assessment.
  • OHS Construction Card.
  • Current Provide First Aid & CPR Training, or willingness to obtain.
  • Minimum "C" class driver license.
  • Rio Tinto or Sodexo site experience (desirable)
