Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HSE advice and expertise to our major Energy maintenance contract.
  • Improve HSE performance, culture, and management.
  • Conduct and support HSE audits, inspections, investigations, and training/awareness.
  • Monitor work practices to ensure adherence to safety and environmental procedures and standards.
  • Ensure all HSE processes and activities; JHA's, permits, etc. comply with relevant HSE legislation and company standards.
  • Provide hands-on support to implement HSE improvements, plans, or solutions.
  • Maintain knowledge of contemporary HSE practices to recommend and implement effective HSE solutions.
  • Conduct routine and ad-hoc analysis and investigations on HSE performance data to identify performance trends and areas of concern/risk at a Project and/or Site level. Propose and follow-up on recommendations for action.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV qualification in OHS and/or Environmental or related area is essential, Diploma preferred.
  • Applied First Aid Certificate is essential.
  • Experience in a similar HSE role.
  • Well-established knowledge of site HSE policies and procedures, and extensive knowledge of HSE legislation and standards and their relevance to Monadelphous.
  • The ability to accurately assemble and maintain document and quality records, and produce reports using MS Office Suite.
  • Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels.
